Bootie served Jade Gimlets at Thanksgiving and they were a big hit! Christina is right, you can't go wrong with fresh basil, and fresh lime juice of course.

Ingredients:

2 oz gin or cucumber vodka

1 oz fresh lime juice

1 cocktail cucumber or 1/4 big cucumber

4-5 basil leaves

1 oz simple syrup

To make:

Muddle your basil leaves with the cucumber and simple syrup. Strain, then add lime juice and gin. Serve over ice. If using vodka, you can shake the vodka, lime juice and muddle mix with ice and then strain.

Ingredients:

2 oz vodka

2 oz strong coffee or espresso

2 ox Kahlua​

​

To make:

Mix your ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice, strain and serve.
